Perhaps one of my favorite US architecture firms will be here next week to provide an opening lecture to next week’s Climate Adaptive Design Conference on Friday. The public is invited to attend the free lecture (donations accepted at the door) on Thursday, November 3 (the evening before the symposium) on The Dixon Water Foundation Josey Pavilion, presented by Tenna Flourian, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, of Lake|Flato architectural firm. One AIA-approved HSW (Health Safety Welfare) continuing education unit is available for AIA Members. Doors open at 5:15pm for beer, wine, and light refreshments.
