Yesterday, we closed on this super cool mid-century home for our buyers who were looking for a spacious pad near Beaver Lake. Though there were hurdles it was a great team effort from everyone and we persevered to the finish line and handed them their keys last evening. We are so happy for them. and can’t wait for their first lounge party. Cheers!

The City of the Future Is Already Here | In central Arizona there exists an experimental town called Arcosanti. It’s built on the principles of arcology, which combines architecture and ecology to envision a city that works in tandem with the Earth’s resources. In this short documentary, The Atlantic goes inside this distinctive urban space to understand how Arcosanti plans to reconstruct how humans envision cities. Go here for the video.

Artist/owners Denise Carbonell and Derek Dominey of the Cotton Mill Studios at 122 Riverside have made the decision to sell their beautiful building in order to embark on new creative and philanthropic ventures in the artistic community of Asheville and the River Arts District.
