Good Morning Folks. In our team’s discussions around new residential homes here in Asheville we often bring up the term “Shed-style” roof. Overall, it is a popular design feature for our contemporary mountain homes. Often designers use it to emulate the vernacular of a shed or a more utilitarian style of architecture. At other times it is used to either open up your view or control the sun coming in. I thought the below video gave a nice overview of the popular roof style here in Asheville. Enjoy!

On Friday we closed on this minimal, modern farmhouse as a pre-construction design/build package by our friends at Rural Modern, one of the builders we work with. The young, first time home buyers are excited about the warm and clean styling of this simple home. Rural Modern says they “build homes and interiors with a unique perspective.” You, also, know that we like to SELL them. Cheers to getting this one off the ground! Kelly and Troy

Hi Folks! We hope you won’t be afraid to be a bit foolish today in being completely you. Wholeheartedly, Kelly and I did 8 years ago today {13 years informally} in starting our unique business. Now look where we are today. Yeah!
