This article by Architect Rick Joy came across our feed recently and I found myself lost in poetic language and the sense of design and place. It has been interesting of late having buyers tour homes and observing them take notice when a house plan is simply placed on a piece of land without any thought to the site and surrounding environment. Blame it on the 1970s.
